The questions the system must answer

What can be promised to a customer, what is already reserved, where it sits, and who adjusted it. If those four are reliable, purchasing and commerce can share the record. If they are not, a new storefront will oversell.

Counts and the real world

Do you support barcodes and scans?

When the warehouse will use them. A scan workflow that slows a counter down will be rejected by staff, so we test it on the real bench.

Is gold inventory different?
