Sample: an internal assistant over a controlled policy library
This sample is an internal assistant for a company whose policies exist but cannot be found. It answers from a defined library, cites the passage, and refuses when the passage is missing. It is not a deployment we are attributing to a customer.
Sample solution. This describes a concept we use to show the shape of a build. It is not a client engagement and it is not a result from a completed customer project.
The corpus
HR and operations policies that have an owner and a current version. Not the entire shared drive. Each document has a department permission copied from the source. If the source cannot say who may read a file, that file stays out.
The behaviour
A staff member asks in the language they work in. The assistant shows the clause and the document title. If retrieval is weak, it says so and points to the policy owner. It does not invent a rule that sounds like the company.
The pilot
Thirty real questions collected from team leads, a two-week pilot with one department, and a list of the answers that were wrong. The second release fixes the corpus. It does not add a second department until the first list is short.
